- First off is the Aesop Calming Shampoo. For many years, I stuck with using a duo that worked very well for me. Until this year. For some reason, I started having a LOT of hair fallout and was clueless as to why this was happening. In any case, the hairstylist I went to at that time suggested that I change my shampoo and conditioner. So I did. Suddenly I no longer had the security of using my magic hair duo (for the curious, it was a Pantene conditioner and Head and Shoulders Shampoo in the Pink variety). It was a very sad time. Lol. But all joking aside I finally found a shampoo that I think I will stick to for a while. This shampoo by Aesop calms my scalp down, especially right now when the dry air is so irritating and makes my scalp go bat crazy. It also gives this amazing shine to the hair. Amazing for sensitive scalp.
- Next up is a perfume. I don't buy a lot of perfumes because I tend to be very picky. This month though I was sorting through my collection and re-organizing things around when I came across a sample of this perfume and I fell in love with the smell. I'm probably very late to the game but I'm talking about the Amazing Grace by Philosophy. Its a very clean scent that reminds me of baby shampoo lol! I have no clue if its only me that it smells like that but in any case I really do like this scent. Its a great everyday perfume because its not too heavy nor too light and can be worn any time.
- On to the next favourite, a lip balm made it into the list. My lips were getting very dry and chapped. I use The Face Shop's I'm Shea Butter Lip Care Cream before bed and its helping to control that issue..
- For the eyes, I am currently loving Clinique's Chubby Sticks Shadow Tint for Eyes. One colour I wear almost every time I do wear eye makeup is Ample Amber. This eyeshadow is so darn easy to apply! Just a few swipes of the entire eye lid, some blending with your fingers and voila~ Pretty pretty.
- Another one for the eyes, I've been tight-lining my eyeballs with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on pencil in Demolition (such cool name these pencils have, I swear!). Then I go ahead and do a little flick down to extend the line (kind of like a puppy eye). Blend it out with a eyeliner brush and yep. Winning look. Before this I use the chubby stick mentioned above as all over shadow. I really like this minimal everyday eye look.
What are your fave products from November?
xoxo
