Emma Hardie Amazing Face Lift & Sculp Moringa Cleansing Balm

By now, everyone in the blogger-sphere has probably given their two cents about this cult-favorite. So of course, I had to write my own thoughts about it! Haha, pardon me but here we go.

What I like about this product:
How luxurious it feels on the skin. And the smell! Oh my goodness, it just smells so good. Fresh and the perfect balance between citrus, floral and herbal? It just smells so nice in an organic and natural way that upon my first sniff of this balm, I was instantly in love.

Alright so now that we established the poshness of this cleanser, let's talk about how it performs. I usually scoop a pea-sized amount (okay maybe a big-fat-pea-size, more like edamame vs frozen peas) of the balm on dry fingers, then I rub the product in my palms to warm it to an oil coinsistency. Afterwards, I massage the oil into my dry face using fast upward and gentle movements. If my aim is to remove makeup (especially at night time) then I use the cleansing cloths that Emma Hardie also makes (you can see it here). This cleanser gets rids of the fullest of coverage foundations and waterproof mascara. The pudding is in the technique. Although you can certainly wash this off with water, it is a heavier balm and I found that the best way really to get it off the face is to wipe it off with a cloth - a very warm, damp cloth. And voila! Perfectly cleansed skin that does not feel tight nor dry.

What I don't like about this product:
How hard it is to get a hold of this product. I realize that this is a UK based brand and as such I know that the only way I can get a hold of this is online. But wait! Its sold-out everywhere that offers free worldwide delivery. Okay so I order my first tub from SpaceNk a month ago and paid the postage fee *sad face*.So then here is the second part that I dislike: It`s pretty expensive. Very expensive. So very luxurious in feel, smell and price.

So my final verdict for this product? It's a very nice balm cleanser. If you are into balm cleansers, you can hardly go wrong with this. The ingredients list does not contain any mineral oil or irritants so it is safe to use for most skin types. It's also a multitasker in that it removes makeup effectively, but can also be used as a facial mask! As a soothing mask, it does a great job of re-hydrating the skin and leaving it soft and healthy. Very nice. If you can afford it. Otherwise, stick to other gentle cleansers from lower price range. Not as luxury but still does the job well.

Would I repurchase this? I already have. I'm waiting for it to arrive in the mail as we speak. A nice backup tub for when I finally finish my current one, which won't be a while since I'm not even 1/4 in the tub.

Feelunique finally restocked so its now available there for free delivery (find it here). Hurry before it runs out again!
