Alpha-H Liquid Gold Discovery Collection

Here comes another cult beauty favorite! I have been reading a lot about the Alpha-H Liquid Gold range for a few months now and finally bit the bullet and ordered this set from Beauty Bay.


My favorite blogs, A Model Recommends and Beauty Mouth rate the Alpha-H range very highly. Ruth from A Model Recommends already wrote a very informative review and you can read it here.  

I have always wanted to try Liquid Gold (find out what it does by reading this review) but was too afraid that it might not agree with my sensitive skin. After only using this for a week, I can tell you that my only regret is not doing so sooner. Holy grail product. I am so impressed with these that I have already repurchased the full size versions. Excuse me for sounding dramatic, but surely I will continue buying this for the rest of my life. Please never stop making them Alpha-H! 

Okay, so this set comes with five products:

1. Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera
2. Liquid Gold
3. Liquid Gold Intensive Night Repair Serum
4. Liquid Gold Perfecting Daywear
5. Essential Hydration Cream 

I use the (1)Balancing Cleanser only on nights when I apply Liquid Gold (every other night). Its a lovely cleanser that aims to balance the PH of the skin and preps it for Liquid Gold. I then splash some of the (2)Liquid Gold on a cotton pad and wipe that all over my face and neck. And then full stop. No serum or moisturizer or anything afterwards. I wake up with plump and moisturized skin that is much smoother and clearer than the day before - no lie!

For the nights when I'm not using Liquid Gold, I go ahead with my normal night time routine that you can read here. I've made some changes with the products I currenly use but you can go give that post a read if you are curious. 

The (3)Liquid Gold Intensive Night Repair Serum (read Ruth's review here) can be used on nights when the regular Liquid Gold is skipped followed by the (5)Essential Hydration Cream as the moisturizer.

Lastly, the (4)Liquid Gold Perfecting Daywear can be used during the day as the name suggests after your daytime skincare routine (mine can be found here) as a sort of primer underneath makeup to blur imperfections and give a youthful glow!

All in all, I think this is a great set to invest in if you are curious to try the Alpha-H Liquid Gold range. Go get you some!!!
