Skincare Haul : I've been Online Shopping

My order from Escentual finally arrived in the mail! I was so happy as it felt like Christmas all over again. As you can see from the picture, the order was very La Roche-Posay heavy (surprise, surprise!).
I do want to share some quick thoughts about some of the products I have been using.

The Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser is a very gentle non-foamy, creamy cleanser that has replaced the Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser I have been using previously. I mentioned in a previous post that I seem to have developed a sensitivity to the alcohols contained in Cetaphil which caused some burning on my skin after use. This was worrisome and so I set out to find a replacement. I considered two products during that time, this Dermo-Cleanser from La Roche Posay and the Avene Gentle Milk Cleanser. Because I have had very positive experience with La Roche-Posay as a brand on the whole, I decided to give the Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser a try and so far I am loving it. It is a thicker consistency compared to the Cetaphil and does not cause any burning sensation on my skin at all. It does not strip my face and make it dry (in fact, it makes it feel moisturized!) after use so I will continue to use this for the foreseeable future. I should probably mention that I still use water to wash this off my face, instead of the directions listed on the website which was to wipe it off with a cotton ball.

For my lips, I have been using the Nuxe Reve de Miel as part of the night time skincare of routine. First of all, its very moisturizing and it doesn't feel like its just sitting on top of your lips. Second, this smells so refreshing and good! Its heavily scented with honey and lemon so if you are not a fan of that combo I would say step away from this lip balm. But personally, I do like it and it makes me want to eat it straight from the jar.

Another Nuxe product that made it into my online shopping basket was Nuxe Gentle Toning Lotion with Rose Petals. This is a toner that I decided to buy because I needed an alternative to my Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Toner for those days when my skin feels more normal.
I tend to reach for this during the day and I layer it underneath a serum and the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (separate review for the Effaclar Duo coming soon!) and that combination is really working great for me.

Finally, I also bought the Effaclar Mat and the Anthelios XL SPF 50+ in preparation for the coming warmer, sunny months when my combination skin tends to lean more towards the oily side on my T-zone.

Did I miss anything else? I think that is all for now. If you want me to do a full review on any of the products above, do let me know.
