It's that time of the month (excuse me to the non-ladies) and mother nature has brought along some nasties. Most of the time, I can ignore spots and pimples just fine. However, this month was particularly bad, due to many reasons, and so I came up with a trio of products that helped with my breakouts.
Its important to take fish oil supplements to help out with the inflammation in your skin. The suggested dosage for skin issues is 1000mgs per day. I'm not a nutritionist nor am i medically trained so please speak to a doctor prior to taking any supplements to make sure it would not affect any exisiting medications or conditions you might have. Omega 3 is also good for the brain and helps reduce PMS symptoms so its an effective helper for this time of the month! Grab some from your nearest drugstore or pharmacy.
I have mentioned the Estee Lauder Night Repair in previous posts, and this serum is a total winner for keeping breakouts in control and getting rid of them sooner. I pat this on at night, taking extra care to cover areas with breakouts, and by morning they are significantly reduced and almost on their way out.
Finally, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment is the heavyweight in this post. I only apply this over affected areas twice a day and it seriously gets rid of those under the skin bumps that usually takes forever to develop into a head. I hate these under-the-skin breakouts to no end and anything that can banish them into oblivion deserves a gold medal in my eyes.
