Subscription Saturday : Memebox #12

Hi everyone, whoa look at this second post in one day! A little bit of a public service announcement. Please excuse the posting schedule as I am still trying to figure out the best times for blogging. There are still a couple of scheduling changes I have to figure out before I can sit down and decide on a more organized posting schedule!

Anyway! Welcome to the second Subscription Saturday. Today I will be showing you what was inside the Korean Memebox #12 which I bought a few months back in April but shipped out to me end of June. Since it took a few weeks for international regular shipping I just received it about a week ago. Memebox is strictly not a monthly subscription service. They release tons of boxes each month and its up to you whether you want to buy or not. Its basically buy as you go but with the number of releases they do, you can very easily get one box a month if not more! Their website is memebox.com so if this sounds interesting to you then go ahead and check them out.

Here is what the box looks like inside:

Now let's look at each product.

Ryo Anti-Hair Loss Treatment

The description card says that this is a cooling hair treatment with biota seed, coix seed, green tea and gold extracts. It says that it will not only prevent hair loss but also re-energize and strengthen thin, damaged hair. Now, I don't think I have particularly damaged hair (thank goodness) but I am prone to hair fallout and for that reason I feel super lucky that I bought this box. Will definitely be adding this to my hair regimen.

Banila Co. Claypatra Mineral Salt Clay Pack

I seem to be really into clay masks these days. Not a week goes by where I don't use one. I have been using another Korean clay mask recently (of which I will do a later post on) and I must say I am terribly impressed with the quality of Korean clay masks. If this has any of the goodness of the one I've been using recently, then I will definitely let you know in a side by side comparison.

Anyway, the card says that this is a 100% pure mud extracted straight from the Dead Sea with 32% salt and minerals. It will effectively remove any excess sebum, dead skin and external pollutants clogged up in your pores. Will definitely give this one a go. Mask addict over here.

Plagentra White Mark Cream

So by just looking at this package its not really very clear what its for. Fortunately the product card explains that this is a cream to diminish stretch marks and balance out uneven skin tone. You know what, I am willing to give this one a try.

This box also contains a few samples of the massage gel and lotion in a neat little plastic pouch. You can see the sample size of the same cream below which I have received the full size for. The other samples are hiding behind it.

L.vida Nail Polish in Pink Orange

First of all, can we talk about the cute packaging! Oh my goodness! Cute things always get me super excited. This is another summer colour which would look great with a tan I think. info card has a list of colours and each box gets a randomly selected one. I'm happy to get this color actually!

Inter-cos Smooth Sensitive Removal Cream

This is is a spray type hair removal cream! How intriguing. I will have to try this out as I have never tried a spray type cream for this kind of thing before. We all know that nice, smooth legs are a must have for the summer. So this is a very useful item to get from the box.

Palan Crysence Organic Essence

I'm already familiar with facial essences, so when I saw this hair essence included in my memebox, my reaction was "Why the heck not!". The instructions on the info card says that this can be used throughout the hair from root to tip and will help treat dry, damaged hair. It's a leave-in treatment so no need for washing off. I was staggered by the price of this full-size item (listed at $72).

So to summarize my reaction to this box. I would say its a--aa---aamaazing. The retail value of the entire box excluding the sample sachets is listed around US$139. The actual cost with shipping was US$29.99 but with my points I was able to get it for....wait for it....wait for it....  TWO Freaking Dollars. Yes!!! Winner! This is actually my *fifth* memebox and I was able to take advantage of previous points promotions. Word of warning, please be careful as these memeboxes are extremely addictive and will cause your wallet to weep if you end up getting every single box that comes out!

You can imagine how much of a score this box is for me. I can't recommend this box enough to anyone I know. This is not a sponsored post and nobody is paying me anything to say these things lol.

Alright, that's it for today ladies. Hope you have a great weekend!

xoxo
