Subscription Saturday : Ipsy July 2014

Hello Ladies! So I was debating whether to put up this post or not, seeing that it is already August and this was a subscription for the month of July. In the end I decided that I would rather show you what I received since I already have them sitting on my dresser. I am talking about the Ipsy bags by the way. Its a monthly beauty subscription service that comes in a different style of bag/pouch each month. If you are curious, the website ipsy.com has tons of information and have previous months revealed in their site. Have a look there!

Let's start! This months Ipsy bag was of leather type material in bright pink. The scallop edges gave it a more feminine character I think. Inside I got five items.

Pur~lisse SPF 30 Sunscreen

This is a daily moisturizer with broad spectrum spf30. It says its for normal-dry skin type. Its a nice deluxe size which I think I will save for travel.

models own nailpolish in Red Sea

So I have no idea what shade this is at first. It doesn't say on the actual polish. But being the resourceful person that I am, I remembered that I can login to my glam room on the ipsy website. Whoa la~ The shade is Red Sea and it is a very glittery (huge silver glitters) neon red nail polish. It smells very strong...like those plastic balloons I grew up playing with as a kid. Not very pleasant. I hope the intense smell doesn't stay with application. I will have to try it out and see.

bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 in The Inspiration

This is so cute! The packaging is quite tiny. I always have a soft spot for tiny things like these. The shades are also up my alley. The champagne shade would be perfect for a low-key all over daytime look, or to highlight the inner corner of the eyes. The plum color has micro-shimmer and looks beautiful. So excited for these.

pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm in Pretty Pink

Another cute and tiny deluxe sample! I really like this color actually. I always get excited when I get lip products in my subscription bags/boxes. Good size if you are on the go since you can practically fit this anywhere.

Clear Clinic Vanished Clear Spot Treatment

Last but not the least, this spot treatment came in a clear zippy bag. I really like that it was packaged separately since it leaking would have messed up the other products in the bag. I am always happy to try spot treatments since I get hormonal breakouts so will definitely be using this one. This contains salicylic and glycolic acids. Me likey.

That's it guys! Hopefully you are all having a lovely weekend! Talk again soon.

xoxo
